FUI (French Joint Ministerial Fund) – Support for joint research and development projects from Competitiveness Clusters: Fonds Unique Interminstériel - Régions
In the new phase of the France’s Competitiveness Cluster policy, two calls for projects are launched annually jointly by the State and the Regions, to identify joint R&D projects validated by Competitiveness Cluster labels. The various state funds available for these projects are provided jointly from a single joint ministerial fund (FUI). Projects eligible for the FUI should dispose of budgets of between 750 000 and 5 m euros.
The award of the cluster’s label validates the strategic or priority nature of the project presented, the position of the project within the strategy of the cluster making awarding the label and its complementarity with other projects, in particular those applying for funding from different funding schemes: State, local authority, European Union or their agencies.
Publication of the list of projects selected under call for projects FUI 18 is planned for the end of September 2014.
The closing date for submission to FUI19 is the end of November (exact date to be confirmed later).
