Delphine Lapray is happy and proud to have taken on the role of Optitec’s General Director on 17th July 2017. Passionate about public action that encourages innovation and economic development, she led a cluster for economy and territorial development in a highly industrial urban community for 8 years, after various experience in the private and public sectors. Convinced of the crucial role likely to be played by competitive clusters in France’s industrial renewal, she considers Optitec to be an agile and solid tool, able to stimulate innovation and create wealth by orchestrating rich and sustainable chemistry between actors in the photonics and imaging sector in the south of France.
The head of a multicultural team and equipped with a diverse range of skills combining technological expertise with a business approach, Delphine applies herself boldly and decisively to her work, supporting the performance of each of Optitec’s members: from startups, SMEs, large organisations and research laboratories to engineering schools.

A Doctor of Optoelectronics, Jérôme has worked as a research engineer and project manager at Thales Research & Technology, then as a programme manager at Mauna Kea Technologies. Jérôme is involved in monitoring Optitec’s overall activity with particular focus on strategic partnerships (clusters), member relationships, scientific and technological events, the development of new services (especially Light2Share), structural projects (platforms), coordinating Optitec’s Strategic Council, and assisting the General Director with team management and governance of the cluster.
A Doctor of Photonics, Oriane has applied her skills and expertise to the French National Centre for Scientific Research within the framework of national research projects in the areas of photonics, nanostructures and nano-optics. Oriane is involved in the coordination and operational implementation of platforms such as the collaborative PEMOA platform (supplying equipment, organising training, etc.) within the R&D Projects team and lends her expertise to R&D project consolidation.

Thanks to training in international relations and a Master's degree in space-based activities and telecommunications law, Zica brings knowledge and experience, notably acquired at Thales Alenia Space and the European Commission, to Optitec. Based in its Brussels branch since 2014, Zica represents the cluster to European institutions and carries out monitoring in order to provide assistance specifically to members looking to set-up European projects and develop internationally.

A Doctor specialised in the field of Astrophysics, Cecilia has worked as a research engineer at the Paris Observatory and the Marseille Astrophysics Laboratory. With considerable international experience, she applies her expertise to her role at OPTITEC in order to ensure management of the European OASIS project, namely the coordination of the consortium of partners and the organisation, and the achievement of various deliverables (technical reports, workshops).

Regina holds a Master's degree in International Relations and a Master's degree in European Studies. Regina has worked in the field of European projects since the beginning of her career, maintaining contact with research laboratories and companies. She offers members tailored assistance within the Europe/International team at OPTITEC which includes support in their approach to lobbying and extends to the submission of European projects. Regina is also responsible for assisting companies at international shows and brings her expertise in administrative and financial monitoring to the European EPRISE project.

A holder of two Masters degrees in Physical Modelling and Environment and a specialised Master’s in Innovation Management, Michaël is an expert in innovative projects. He worked as an Innovation and Business Support Project Officer in an economic development agency for 4 and a half years. Michaël uses his skills to assist businesses and members with their development and successful project management.

Holder of a Master’s in Business Marketing and Communication Management, Jolaine immersed herself in the business and economic world of the Bouches-du-Rhône Business Union, (France). She organised around 50 annual events with large companies based in the département. At Optitec, Jolaine is responsible for organising events and leading annual programming. Building on her knowledge of development within entrepreneurial, dynamic and creative worlds, she makes every effort to coordinate and promote Optitec’s network of members.

Drawing on 13 years of experience within the cluster, Chantal is responsible for financial management, (cash flow monitoring, accounting, billing etc.), grant applications, and balance inquiries with public institutions. With a strong sense of responsibility and interpersonal skills, Chantal maintains close relationships with the State, region and local authorities within the framework of grant application management.
