Optitec is an association under the law of 1901 and governed by a Board of Directors, a Strategic Board and a Steering Committee.
Board of Directors
The Board of Directors is composed of academic and industrial members and consists of 25 members elected for 3 years at a General Assembly. Its role is to apply and implement decisions made in the General Assembly. It is chaired by the president of the Board of Directors.
Composed of a minimum of 19 members, the Strategic Council fulfils an advisory role to the Board of Directors. It is tasked with sharing its vision on major scientific technological and industrial issues within the photonics and imaging industry.
The aim of the Steering Committee is to present and discuss strategy implemented by the Board of Directors and consider ways in which to implement projects. It is composed of Board members and partner institutional representatives involved in funding the cluster.
